I was there in a tent with my girlfriend. The music kept going all night. Darroll Adams played at about 4 in the morning . He got very excited and work up the sleeping people. He called all the American folk singers up on stage and if you would not get up he came and got you up. Once he got us on stage he wanted to sing Jump down turn around pick a bail of cotton ...I 'd say we sang till the sun came up and then every body was singing. After the Festival Darroll took Roger Mason Steve Warring kathy lowe and my self to his home ... when we got there he was drunk and his wife was angry and she threw us all out him too. It was that day that Darroll owned up that he was this French kids father. He turned out to be a good banjo player too!
