Beggars' Hill LP now officially released on CD

Thanks for adding a link in 2008 from your excellent Time Has Told Me blog to the Beggars' Hill website ( www.beggars-hill.co.uk ). Following this, I had emails from many of your readers asking for an official release on CD. When I received some offers to release the album for download only, I decided to wait until I had an offer to release it on CD.

I can now let you know that the Beggars' Hill album from 1976 has been professionally converted to digital format, restored and released on CD by Talking Elephant Records (TECD156), with extra sleeve-notes by Kingsley Abbott setting it in context for 1976 and for 2010, nearly 35 years later. It is available from their website www.talkingelephant.co.uk .

Thanks to those of your readers who wrote telling me that you wanted an official release on CD. To read more details of how it happened, click on this link www.beggars-hill.co.uk/afterbh.html and scroll down to 2009 and 2010.

Thanks again,

David

A Champion response by the record owner, just goes to prove that music blogs DO help artists, and not ALL of them are so bound up in just making money to ignore the REAL fans.

WELL DONE!!
