This is the passing of a great musician, arranger and producer. His work on Five Leaves Left, Bryter Layter with Nick Drake were brilliant and part of the very fabric of the Nick's legacy. Let us pay hommage and remember him here for all time. His life was short, but his impact was huge.

In the mid 70s, I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Robert has he was touring with Strawbs. We immediately connected ans spoke about Nick's work has a composer and recording artist as well as his career has an arranger, writer and performer. He left a lasting impression on me: he was more than a truly gifted artist, he was a wonderful, kind and giving person.

His passing truly saddens me. However, with faith in heaven, I am joyous that he is at peace with a loving God.
