Oh, dear, I really think you should remove this - all the tracks are still under copyright (especially the Planxty ones) and you really wouldn't want to meet Christy Moore's lawyers!

Thanks. Good to see a copy of this LP again.

Was wondering if anyone has a copy the 1978 Stockton's Wing album (Tara 2004)?

I said this for an earlier post - just about every track of every album on this blog is "under copyright," going back to 1925. But if the track/album is not commercially available, then there is no loss of revenue for the artist.

If any of the tracks on this compilation are available for sale on another release somewhere, then it should be taken down, or the tracks removed. But otherwise, circulating out-of-print recordings is not a problem.

In fact, circulating out-of-print recordings is the best way to convince labels to re-release them!

Great blog.
Who cares if this is under copyright? Most music is. The question is, is this available for sale? And answer seems to be 'no'. So I'm guessing the lawyers are interesting in lawsuits but not interested in people actually hearing the music. I would keep links up until the lawyers or the artists come knocking and tell you to take them down.

You know I am sure glad that the old time music I love is largely PD so I dont have to deal with A-holes policing blogs.
