Looks great, thanks.
Pretty lightweight folk pop. after listening to this i'm assuming it was the other member of Tir Na Nog who was the 'interesting one' musicially. Their first album was superb, the next two quite dreadful and this solo record is even worse. Too bad--but at least the first Tir Na nog record is a timeless classic!
A grossly unfair comment above. True, it took Sonny time to find his feet musically and he has often failed to translate his ability within a studio setting but he is undeniably one of Ireland's most influential musicians.
Leaving his consistently brilliant songwriting aside, his use of guitar and the unique sound he crafted with it has been groundbreaking and inspiring to many, many of his contemporaries.
For those of us who have been lucky enough to see him in his various incarnations: solo, with Tir na nOg and most especially with Scullion, we know how misleading the anonymous comment above is.
