Heres To The Irish!
Various Artists (Transatlantic SAM 1) 1968?
Compare the previous post to this more commercial Irish offering from Transatlantic released at around the same time.
This album must also be in the running for one of the worst covers ever made (they couldn't even afford a pint of stout!)

Thanks for this,
the Johnstons were one of the top groups in Ireland in the late 60ies. One of the members was Paul Brady (you can hear him in The Frog's Wedding)
Thanks Reynardine :)
It will be very interesting to make the comparison you propose.
Cheers!
Una reliquia!, posteriormente el sello "Castle' hizo una edición con más pistas y grupos con el nombre "The best of Irish Folk".
Obviamente me quedo con esta, pues, es la original.
Gracias y saludos. ;)
I still have this lp which my parents bought back in the 1960's. "Lambs on the green hills" still brings a tear to my eyes.
