I'm listening to Sandy Denny at my desk while working late. Before closing down for the night, I thought I'd check out your excellent blog and what do I find?
Sandy Denny! And not just any Sandy Denny, but a recording I've never even heard of (and I thought I'd heard of them all)!
Thank you so much for this, and for your truly outstanding blog.
OMOT
Thanks for this! I was at this festival, and while I remember excellent performances by The Byrds and Buffy Sainte-Marie, for some reason I have no memory of seeing Sandy there. It's good to be reminded.
I just looked up the festival line-up - also on the bill were Dion, Tim Hardin, the Incredible String Band, Ralph McTell, Pentangle, Tom Paxton, Steeleye Span, Dave Swarbrick & Martin Carthy, James Taylor, and Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee. Quite a show!
Oh my!!! This is a truly lost treasure. For me, anyway. And a sincerely want and need to say a HUGE THANK YOU once more. What a line up this is!!!. I' m longing to listen to this one.
Before downloading this concert people should be aware that the sound quality is very, very poor.
This is a kick ass show!!!
Many thanks. Poor sound quality, yes, but a hell of a band.
A hell of a band, but pretty unlistenable quality. Mind you, interesting to know this is out there. W.
thank you for posting this one, even if it is unlistenable, it's sandy. there are times when i listen to her on headphones while walking my dog in the woods that i think her solo albums were just so uplifting so enriching. one for the magic lady!
Magnificent lost treasure from Sandy!
Thanks a lot!
I'd like to subscribe to this Blog, but I don't know how to proceed. Can you tell me?!
All the best,
Serge.
Brilliant !Thank you so much for the wonderful Sandy treasures!
Hey, thanks for posting this. But when I click on 'DL' it gives me a message RapidPro expired. Any chance of reposting this little gem?
