Silly Wizard - Wild & Beautiful (1981)The music of Silly Wizard it seems to me that has two faces. One that is haunted and another joyfull and gay which celebrates the life itself. This record of these guys from Endinburg, is just like this.
An excellent scottish traditional, folk record.

Terrific album. Unfortunately missing the right channel but I still loved it.

Thanks so much for the Silly Wizard! Saw Phil Cunningham & his mates in Relativity in Columbus, OH, in the 80s. Outstanding show. Any Relativity you can find would be much appreciated -- Smitty59
Right channel missing
My mistake. And the same problem exists in the "Kiss the Tears Away" as well.
I'll soon fix this and the other too.
^_^
I didn't want to sound ungrateful in my comment above but am very pleased you will be reposting the Silly Wizard albums. Thanks so much,
Dave
Still no right channel

Well, νομίζω ότι είναι ένα έξοχο γκρούπ και σ' ευχαριστώ πολύ, και όλους στο υπέροχο αυτό blog.Thank you once more for one special post once again.
You must be getting frustrated but I hope you don't give up trying to post these. Hang in there,
Dave
It seems that I have to try with other pc, cause I tried with numerous programs to convert the wav files to mp3 in stereo but the results were illogical.
However, the wav files seems to be flawless.
If everyone would like to convert the wav files on his own to check this one out, I could send them via rapidshare.
I have a program called Switch that converts all sorts of audio files. You can get a free trail version for a limited time at www.nch.com,au/switch and costs $US 30 (If I recall correctly) if you want to keep it. I can convert the files for you but am not sure I'm up to speed on how to post to rapidshare to get them back to you and I don't have a rapidshare account.

I managed to encode with another pc but the results were the same. I'll try to rip from the vinyl with other options when I'll have spare time. :)
