Alan Prosser's haircut must be the most outstanding in English folk rock...I'm surprised it didn't split from the group and make a solo album...

Ha. I wrote a longish response about Alan Prosser solo albums and then I finally parsed your response correctly... :)
I have sometimes felt that one of the reasons the Oyster Band got those early albums off the market is because those photos of Prosser would have sunk their 1990s career as indie-punk-folkers.
I hope this series of Oyster excavations will include a visit to "Liberty Hall." I still think that album was their all-time peak. Also worth an excavation would be THE ORIGINAL COOKING VINYL LP MASTERING of "Wide Blue Yonder," which is different than all CD variants.
Thanks as always.
