Many thanks for this. McTell is a massively underrated singer and songwriter, his 'Mr Nice-Guy' image belies a talent of real depth and intelligence. He is the best member that Fairport never had!
'Zimmerman Blues' scores very high in my book--a hooky-as-hell wisely- produced folk rocker....of course 'Streets' ...
The man's a national treasure.
