Indeed strange things are happening in this rip. I have listened to it with a friend and we came to the conclusion some other music crept in..., not just in one track, but in several tracks. Since we both like riddles like this, we tried to find more information about this album. We did find the tracklist. Here it is:
Side A
1. L' aguillaneu
2. La blanche biche
3. Down the hill
4. Chant de la noisille
5. Le bal des sorciers
Side B
1. Les trois gens d' armes
2. Compleinte des tisseuses de soie
3. Cri de berger
4. Lisalette, la montagne d' ete
5. Newlin' town
6. Peut-on leur echapper?
Apart from the fact that Danielle Messia (b. 27-10-1956, d. 13-06-1985) was one of the singers, we couldn't find the complete line up (info in French: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danielle_Messia ; the release date given there for this album seems to be wrong).
Somewhere it was put up for sale:
""GRATTONS LABEUR "le bal des sorciers" (ABA 77 FR) : RARE ENCHANTING ACID FOLK /TRAD, private press. With dreamy hypnotic female vocal of Danièle Messiah , French sung & English for one track. Alternate male & female vocals and deep feeling for a fantastic haunted version of traditionnal track "La blanche biche" , without doubt the better version that i ever heard . .Original track like "Le bal des sorciers" has a sabath atmosfear , a pure delight . All the songs are magic ! One of the most beautiful folk album ever made, a must always in demand !
(VG++ SLEEVE/EX RECORD .... 150 eur)""
The next thing to do was restoring this album. To our best ability we did, although the original album is not in our possession. The result is in this file:

I hope you all will enjoy the result, not to mention the fact you may have just saved yourself 150 euros...

Great album by the way =)
But how it happened - i don't know =\
Thank you so much for the fixed and restored album Oisin, it sounds much better! So it is complete now?
Hi Arbor,
Since I don't have the original album I'm not 100% sure. But I'm pretty confident the album is restored to what it originally was. The new archive contains the renamed tracks with ID3v2-tags @ 256 cbr. I'd say it's complete now...
Greetings, Oisín
