Judy Dyble

"Spindle" 2006

Amazon.com: Spindle: Music: Judy Dyble
Dyble (the original singer with Fairport Convention) now has a cross-over market appeal working with Marc Swordfish, writer and singer of Astralasia, this album offers appealing treats for both to the Folk/Folk Rock and Ambient markets. With "Spindle", we see the development of Dyble's music to a much higher level with the musical directions of Mark Swordfish plus the involvement of internationally acclaimed guitarist Robert Fripp (King Crimson). Also featured here is a reworking of "See Emily Play", the classic Syd Barrett/Pink Floyd song she recorded in the 1970's with King Crimson precusor Giles Giles & Fripp

1. See Emily Play
2. Final Hour
3. Misty Morning
4. Lost In Fingest
5. Honeysweet
6. Shining
7. Darkness To Light
8. Wiggle Waggle
9. Thank You My Dear

Simon Houseが参加してる作品で頭に浮かぶのは、私の場合Third Ear BandのMacbethくらいですね^^;
数珠繋ぎで色んなアーティストを知るのも楽しさの一つではありますが、マニア心理が加速して泥沼化してしまいますね(笑)

あはは^^;

Where can one find the original version of "See Emily Play" that she recorded with Giles, Giles, and Fripp?

I'd love to get my hands on that! I thought I had everything Giles, Giles and Fripp recorded, but not if "See Emily Play" is floating around out there somewhere. Please help if you can!

On a side note, she must've recorded it around 1967-68 (not "in the 1970s" as claimed) because by 1969, GG&F no longer existed - they had formed King Crimson.
