Thanks for the Jimmy Simpson LP. I met Mr. Simpson in the 1980's in the Yukon Territory. Canada. He was Gold mining at the time. In 1984 he got up & sang a few songs with the Trio I was playing Bass with. His wife later told me that was the first time he had sang in public since the 1960's when he retired from the music business.
He was very well respected in the Country music world when he was actively recording & touring in the 1950's.
Once again Thank You. John

The Share All site is closed...any chance you could post the LP elsewhere? I have Mr. Simpson's book, "A Vanishing Breed: The Gold Miner". He self-published it in 1996, it is a chronicle his gold mining experiences in Alaska and the Yukon during the late 60's, 70's and 80's.

I happen to know that Jimmy Simpson is alive and well and living in Ashland City, TN with his lovely wife. He is a great guy that I have known since 1949. We talked on the phone a couple of weeks ago.

I am wishing to hear this LP exceedingly bad; would it be possible to repost it? Kind regards and much appreciation.
