This is a beautiful record if you like French prog-folk. They were definitely drinking from the same well as Malicorne, but with even heavier emphasis on the group choral singing (not that Yacoub & co. were any slouches in that department). There's something magickal about French, when it's sung. But this will prob'ly appeal to fans of Tull, Gryphon, Mr. Fox, Fairport/Steeleye, even if you're not specifically drawn to French. ---
