I'm sorry John died but his music will live forever!
RIP John!
Thanks for the Kingston Trio postings, I loved them when I was quite young and had a purple label Parlophone single as I remember it with 'Patriot Game' on one side and 'Last Night I had The Strangest Dream' on the other. I literally played that record until it fell to pieces and it led to a lifelong love of Folk Music.
John Stewart!! what a gift! someone post TERESA & THE LOST SONGS puhleease; not for me mind ye; not his every album is perfection, but the total of John's classic songs rivals most anyone's.
-The best kind of Americana imo: The Road is there--- the mystery...the stoic characters, the noble underdogs, the ingenues on bad trips, the heros unbeknownst...
"We will find our golden road somwhwere down the line...I believe it's getting closer all the time..." [Bombs away ....]
Any chance for the original artwork?? If you don't have a scanner - a pic with the camera will do it as well I guess.
Thanks for posting the Nick,Bob,John album. Any more Kingston Trio would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
