Susan McKeown
Hello,
I heard that you have a great website.
But I heard today that you have offered my music free for download.
I earn my living from my music so I would appreciate if you would please remove the music from free download and direct people to my website instead where they can purchase the music:
www.susanmckeown.com or www.myspace.com/susanmckeown
Thanks,
Susan McKeown

She couldn't have said it any nicer, dude. But thanks for making us look like petty, cheap assholes.
Maybe it's Cher in disguise

What's wrong with you? Have you no respect for the music & musicians you claim to love? Music people these days face daunting challenges just to get by. If the concept of purchasing music somehow goes against your grain, then the least you could do to honor the music-makers is to keep your snide remarks to your damned self.
Y'know, a lot of this artist-audience conflict could be avoided if THTM and other such blogs only posted---and we only downloaded----stuff that is old, out of print and impossible to find. Methinks it is foul play to post/take stuff from current artists like Susan, who are struggling to earn a living from their craft. ---EeeGee, NYC.
I agree with eeegee. It's absolutely ridiculous to post commercially available stuff, no matter the logical contortions (or outright mockery) people engage in to try to rationalize the practice.
When an artist makes a totally polite and reasonable request why do one or two fuckwits always feel the need to have a go at them? I'd say more but the second comment on this page sums up my thoughts perfectly.
