My previous comment reminded me that I have been wanting to send you another rip from a tape of a record from the early 1970's. Its by a woman called Bonnie White and I know nothing about her other than she is an African-American Pysch-Rocker and that her record is one of my all time favourite [I also never seen it made avaiable on any blog let alone on CD]. I'd be interested if you know anything about her.

Download doesn't seem to work? Get's between 4-8% and the speed drops to zero. Tried a few times today. Any ideas?
Thanks, it would have been nice to listen to this album, but the Divshare server is impossibly low - it would take well over 12 hours to download this file.

Divshare's a bit slow; took a couple of hours to get it, but well worth the wait.

I'd classify her more as soul than psych rock. AMG has her as gospel. A very nice sound.
Yes, sorry about the 'psych-rocker' classification [was hoping noboddy would notice]. It was a error when I was typing my original note to Lizardson and thinking of something else. Not sure how to classify Bonnie actually ... other than nice [ but then again I was 13 when I first heard it when it was released and perhaps easily impressed.
perhaps you should have said... PSYCHIC ROCK! that better describes Bonnie... she was always as solid as the ROCK OF GIBRALTER... I hope she reads this or someone sends this to her, so she receives my heart-and- soul-felt greetings and salutations... after 43 years... our friendship survives and thrives... we just haven't stay in touch much due to FATE'S FICKLE FINGER...hope you are doing great and still writing those amazing songs and loving life and everything and everyone around you too... bill
