Lovely album.

She has other albums which may or may not be lost in her record-label history.

Every one I've heard is EXCELLENT. She is world-class, and utterly unique.

When I was in college, in the early 80s, all the lesbians and feminists I knew worshipped this album. I'm not a lesbian--heck, I''m not even a girl--but I really loved it as well. The only copy I had was on a crusty cassette, and I played it on every summer road trip at at least once. The cassette wore out and I hadn't heard it in 13 years til I found it here.
Unfortunately, this was the best thing Ferron ever did. Over the years, she sort of fell out of favor because she started showing up drunk on stage. But not many are granted the privilege of producing even one masterpiece. Which this most definitely is. Thanks!

Ferron is amazing, and is still going strong. Her new work is great, and I've seen her live many times, and it's always an extremely moving and intimate performance. Check out vinyldustbin.blogspot.com for her first two, extremely rare albums.
