JSD Band "Live at the Paris Theatre, 1972" (bootleg)

I had this on my I-Pod. No back-up copy, so I had to take it off (a fiddly business). Given that it was also originally a radio recording, the quality isn't great. Plus, it's only 3 songs (about 16 minutes). But for any JSD fans out there it's gold dust. I can't remember ever hearing another JSD Band live recording (and if there is one I'd like it, please!).
The tracks are 'Groundhog,' 'Johnny O'Braidislea' and some tunes, all in one MP3 file. Someone said in the comments to one of the album downloads that JSD must have been a storming live band. They were. This recording doesn't really do them justice but it's all I have so I thought I'd share it.

P.S. A lot of people are still looking for the JSD Band's first album, 'Country Of The Blind.' Come on guys, someone must have it. Now's the time to make your first post! :-)

Nice one! Good to hear a taste of JSD Band live.
Thanks

Thanks for this, sounds great to me! Is this a performance from their TV appearances on the BBC2 Arts programme?
I think it's more likely to be from the BBC Radio 1 'Live In Concert' series.
cuesheet for his file.
open it with Cue splitter or a similar program and In a few seconds you'll have three separate tracks
I forgot the link to the promised cuesheet, sorry

This is great. Now the question is - there`s a BBC transcription disc with Man on one side and JSD Band on the other..... is this it, or is there another live performance lurking about just to tantalise us???
Mustn`t forget their John Peel live sessions either surely someone has these? Also there was a story in Melody Maker/NME/Sounds back in the 70`s that a Marquee gig had been recorded for a possible live album, though when I asked the band about this at the time they were unsure as to whether the recording had been made.
Des Coffield is still making some great music. You can hear him on MySpace at;

They where a great live band I saw them in the Caley picture house in Edinburgh.Bill Barkley was the warm up singer.A magic night out.A year later I saw them at the Playhouse at Tollcross, they where only four and more like a rock band. Ouch.They split up soon afterwards.
