If I'd thought of Tim Hardin I'd have requested this - now you beat me to it! Another great post. Thanks Lizardson.
Thanks too.
I really appreciate you and Luis' recent great works.
Keep goin'!!
Thanks for this essential collection (and your wonderful blog).
In the early 60s, Tim Hardin recorded an unaccompanied set for Atlantic, released as "This is Tim Hardin", one of the most breathtaking folk-blues records to come out of this era. Or any era, for that matter. A few of the songs recorded for Verve ("Danville Dame", "Hoochie Coochie Man", "House of the Rising Sun", "I Can't Slow Down") appear here in just-the-man-and-his-guitar versions that immediately make you forget its Verve counterparts. And "Blues on the Ceilin'" is so haunting it still makes the little hairs on my neck stand up after 40 years of repeated listening.
I've uploaded this gem here:

Thanks again and keep up the good work!
