Hi,
thanks a lot for all the brilliant stuff from Richard's collection.
A little request: can we have some recordings from Doughie Maclean, please ?
Cheers

Thanks . I will listen with interest.
Track 9 on CD 2 is an additional song, "Mississippi". The studio version is on "Freedom and Rain", which I fully recommend.
Track 1-14 is Tincans. Track 1-16 is Red Barn Stomp. Track 2-4 is Galopede. The tune on the end of (2-8) Star of the County Down is The Wind that Shakes the Barley.
The tunes in 1-4 (Cornish Six Hand Reel) are Johnny Mickey Barry's and Salmon Tails Down the Water.
Great set.

Twenty years after recording 'Freedom & Rain'—which they were touring to promote when this set was recorded—Oysterband (as they're now known) and June Tabor have reunited to record a new album, 'Ragged Kingdom', to be released September 19, by Topic Records.

Interestingly, 'The Hills of Shiloh', which they were already performing together in 1991 (it appears on CD1 of this set), is one of the tunes they've recorded for the new album.
