Another fine offering. Paxton's been such a fixture for so many decades (at least here in the States), it's all to easy to take him for granted. This is a great reminder of his fine writing, singing & picking. "When you shook your long hair down" is flat-out gorgeous. "When Princes Meet" & "Silent Night" are stunning, nearly Cohen-ing Cohen! If you happen to be in NYC on Sat. 8/18, he's playing free outside Lincoln Ctr.
