Love what you are doing. Is your turntable very slightly slow because my copy sounds faster by about 4 seconds a song.

Thank you. Loved this. Got a definite Linda Perhacs vibe on some tracks which is not a bad thing ;)

That's what I've collected from internet about:

Poets & Painters & Performers of Blues
by Gillian McPherson

Genre: (British) Folk-Rock
Released: 1971
Label: RCA SF8220

1. Muff the Gong
2. It's My Own Way
3. Look What We've Got to Do
4. They All Want Somebody to Blame
5. Who's at the Deceiving End?
6. I Am the Runner
7. Is Somebody in Tune with My Tune?
8. We Can't Be the Last Line
9. Flight
10. Lazy Dreamer
11. Poets and Painters and Performers of Blues
*All songs are composed by Gillian McPherson

Lineup:
Gillian McPherson; vocal, acoustic guitar
Jon Mark; acoustic guitar, congas, 12 string acoustic guitar
Dave Cousins; acoustic guitar
Spike Heatley; double-bass
Roy Babbington; electric bass
Peter Halling; cello
Brian Spring; drums
Tony Carr; percussion
Johnny Almond; vibes, tenor sax, flute
Tommy Eyre; e-organ, piano
Robert Kirby; strings arranged and conducted
produced by Danny Thompson
cover photograph Rosemary Weller

This obscured British female folk singer's long deleted album is now available on cd. Originally, the album was released on RCA in 1971 but it is extremely scarce now and

seldom comes out on the surface. A nice UK blues, folk, rock music backed from the likes of Dave Cousins (Strawbs), Tony Carr, Tommy Eyre and etc. It is in the same vein

such as Shelagh McDonald, Mae McKenna and Maddy Prior
Dave Cousins appears on acoustic guitar on one track of this highly collectable folk album from 1971.

Dear Gillian,

My name is José Salles Neto. I live in Brazil and I ask you where can I find the music you sung at the last moment (a little song, said the the film letters) of the film "THE DOGS OF WAR"? What is the music name? There is any CD with it? Please, tell me about. The "little song", on your voice it is very, very gorgeous. My e-mail is: sallesneto@terra.com.br.

Thanks a lot your attention.
