Nice to see my old recording here - I seeded this on Dime a few years back.
Thanks for all the great music on your blog!
...nice reminder of times gone... I saw John Martyn a couple of times at Les Cousins in the sixties (though I don't think I was there for this recording)- and a couple of times after in Dublin when I lived there for a few years... stories always were that he was an erratic performer but I reckon I must have been lucky because every time was stunningly good!
An article in the UK Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/theguide/music/story/0,,2119162,00.html/) let eventually to your blog. I was never in Les Cousins but I used to see JM in various West London clubs including Richmond FC (I think) when he first went electric (I think). Bernie Stocks
...and its just vanished? Oh dear - any chance of a re-post? Bernie Stocks
...also would like a re-post. Thanks
Great!!! Thanks for the re-post. Happy to provide link to "London Conversation" from the same period for anyone who's interested. Mail me at: nickmartyn@gmail.com. Cheers Nick
