Harvest Flight
"Sinner Man / You Can Tell the World" (Single 1972)

Harvest Flight put out a dull early Christian rock album in the early 1970s that drew from the laid-back California sound of its day for its musical arrangements. The lyrics, however, were centered around Jesus, Christianity, and salvation. ~ Richie Unterberger, All Music Guide

Wow! Stumbled across this - something I haven't thought of in 35+ years. The chronology doesn't match up with my memories, tho. I played with the band in 1970: Evan Williams, Steve Birchfield, myself and a drummer named Pete. The single had just been cut to sell at gigs (done by Evan and Steve before I joined), and the LP was made after Steve, Pete and I left a few months later for various reasons. Perhaps the single was re-released after the LP was made.

Anyway, thanks for the memory...

Evan Williams was a personal friend and counselor to me since I was 14 year old. I loved him and his music. I still have the original One Way album, and the single. I will always treasure these.

Thank you for posting this!
