Serenade (pre-Shingetsu) ''Prog Medley''
Studio Rehearsal 1976
This is very interesting studio recordings of Japanese progrock band Shingetsu's former band called Serenade. They playing famous prog tunes at their studio rehearsal. I don't know these takes were recorded as medley or simply gathering short parts of these songs. But this is really enjoyable tape for all progressive rock fans.
-Medley-
1. Siberian Khatru (Yes)
2. Echoes (Pink Floyd)
3. Tubular Bells (Mike Oldfield)
4. Starless And Bible Black (King Crimson)
5. She Sells (Roxy Music)
6. Soul Love (David Bowie)
7. Never Turn Back On Mother Earth (Sparks)
8. The Musical Box (Genesis)
9. 21St Century Schizoid Man (King Crimson)
10. Nutrocker (EL&P)
11. The World Became The World (P.F.M.)

What's a repertoire, what's a taste! Just shit at all!
Poor Japan people...
No matter what happens in your life, there will always be hope and light to guide u in the end. Take care...
Agree with the first anonymous.
These musicians seem to be masters to choice the best shit music in the whole world.
Congratulations!
Rare treat, where do you find this stuff?!! Thanks for sharing it with the world!!
I thought I'd download this as I've got all these tracks in my record collection in their originals (including Sparks - great band!) On paper it looks great, but be warned though, these are very short extracts about 2-3 minutes (or less) each, in total about 18 minutes. Tubular Bells is the intro only (22 seconds!). I'm sure this set would have gone down well live in a sweaty club somewhere, but it's not something you will probably listen to more than a few times - unless you're a big Shingetsu fan!
