Would have really liked to have heard these 'gems' but rapidshare only allows 10 downloads and that limit has been reached - is there any chance of re-uploading?

Please! Please! Please!

Thanks for this highlight - which unfortunately could only be downloaded 10 times ... Any chance of uploading it to sharebee again - so that it might last a little longer? Warmly appreciated, thanks, dan-the-man

Good to hear these again after so many years - thanks! I've been looking out for "De 12-Bore Blues" for ages - I still remember Ian playing it live in the folk clubs in Bristol. Keith Christmas was another regular on the Bristol scene in those days, as was Fred Wedlock.

As for Royal York Crescent, I had friends who lived there in my university days, and I recall spending many late nights in their flat listening to "Blonde on Blonde" and "Songs of Leonard Cohen".

Then I download, and find "De 12-Bore Blues" is cut short! Can anyone please post the full version? Or reactivate the other posting with the 10-download limit? Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks very much, ZenBa and Allis.

"De 12-Bore Blues" is one of the 2 great blues parodies of the period, the other being the Bonzo Dog Band's "Can Blue Men Sing The Whites". Probably nowadays it would fall victim to political correctness and never get released.

I'd be very grateful if this stuff could be removed. It has been put here without my permission. I am not proud of these albums, one of which was even originally released under duress. I have made sure that these albums have stayed unavailable for decades by turning down all (in some cases lucrative) requests for their re-issue. Finding them now made available illegally is distressing and disrespectful, to say the least. Thank you.

According to his MySpace page - myspace.com/vulturama - he may have relented, perhaps as a result of the Bristol Folk book and other appreciations - www.bristol-folk.co.uk It looks like there's a 'best of' CD coming out in 2010.

hmm... he's "not proud" of these records made under duress for a label he was the creator and producer of. that's pretty weird!

i'm sorry but this is the digital age, you can't really supress anything even if it's "yours". if people want it they are going to get it one way or another.

release this music Mr. Anderson there is obviously some demand for it. otherwise lighten up! seeing this note from you caused me to search for and download not only these recordings but several others of yours... everything i could find in fact. i don't mind free downloads of music when it is otherwise unavailable. maybe you should have left well enough alone?

btw i like the music very much - so thank you, sort of!
