Yoshio Hayakawa (Japanese SSW 1969)
"Kakkoii kotowa nante kakkowaruin darou (How Uncool is Cool Thing)"

His solo debut album released after his band Jacks disbanded. Simple, song-oriented sound with the accompaniment of acoustic guitar, piano and organ. Features a masterpiece "Salvia no Hana (The Flower of Salvia)".

    when you indicate an album is SSW does that mean it is a traditional folk album?

    Thanks. I was thrown off by how modern the recording sounds (yeah, I know that's silly). Really incredibly beautiful. You wouldn't happen to have any Jacks lying around would you? :D

    This is truly amazing!, thank you for this great album. Are there any other treasures of Japanese acid-folk from this period? Do you have Hayakawa's recent recordings, like uta ha uta no nai tokoro kara kikoetekuru,
    konoyode ichiban kireina mono? If they are anything like this album, they would be greatly appreciated. Thank again!
